Trapped in a corporate body for over 30 years, Crista Dixon has finally escaped to pursue her love of jewelry, fashion and vintage accessories. Last year she introduced her one of a kind “glam” bracelets that can either be worn with jeans or evening apparel. She loves the idea that her bracelets can be worn with casual, business and evening attire. Each piece incorporates gemstones or vintage findings (buttons, cabochons, crystals, cameos) encased in silver clasps which are surrounded by gemstones, glass, crystal, vintage and ethnic beads. This year she introduced her line of one-of-a-kind necklaces featuring vintage, Thai silver and gemstone focal pieces. She also makes custom earrings to go with these creations.

Her jewelry is both hip and fun with an eye toward vintage and natural materials. Having traveled the world in a corporate job, she has admired and purchased jewelry all over the world for herself. Her lifelong love of jewelry inspired her to begin making her own jewelry. Trips abroad allowed Crista to purchase many of the vintage findings she uses in her jewelry. A recent trip to Prague yielded some fabulous vintage crystals. She also found some amazing art deco buckles at an estate sale that she is currently making into bracelets. She loves to see her jewelry enjoyed by the 18 to 80 set.

Crista's jewelry company, Queen Lily's Jewels, is named after he beloved 12 year-old beagle. Lily the beagle is often found in her study taking a snooze or searching for cookies. In addition to Gold Country Artists Gallery, Crista's work can be found in various galleries and boutiques in Northern and Southern California. She is a member of the El Dorado Hills Arts Association and will be participating in the El Dorado County Studio Tour in September.
