David Sterling is a native Californian who spent the first part of his life in Southern California. He moved to the Sacramento area in the late 1970's and began his 20-year career as a wedding photographer. Dave has been an artist photographer for almost his entire life and graduated from film work to the digital world around 2005, purchasing a Canon digital SLR and learning Photoshop.

Dave has always liked the "hands on" process from beginning to end when working on photographs. He enjoys all the computer work and bringing the photo to the work you see as the result.

Dave is happiest when he is driving around in the country, foothills, or ocean side with his camera at his side.
