Bill Robinson has enjoyed digital photography for the last ten years. In that time, he has traversed the many versions of Photoshop, migrated from early digital cameras to the latest digital SLRs, scoured the depths of countless photography magazines and books and worked his magic touch on many photographs. By working hard at his art over the last 3-4 years, he has become known locally for his photographic art. Fascinated by photography since childhood, Bill has flourished in the new digital realm. With the advent of a "digital darkroom" on his computer, Bill has been able to work with digital images to create photographic art images that span from traditional-looking photographs to images that look a bit like paintings. Always experimenting, Bill has also found several other programs that he uses to enhance his work. Whatever the method, digital camera image or scan of a traditional photograph, once it is in the computer you can do just about anything to it. That's where Bill has fun—experimenting with an image and coming up with just the right adjustments to make it look the way he wants it to look. |
