Theresia "Tess" Klausen loves to paint all of creation: skies, oceans, mountains, meadows and streams, flora and fauna. Most of all, Tess likes to paint people's portraits—the reflection of all who derive energy, comfort and healing from nature.

Tess Klausen was born in East Prussia. She immigrated to the United States at an early age, making California her home. She is an award-winning artist who is largely self-taught. Tess is a member of the Placerville Arts Association and the El Dorado Arts Council.
