Karen Hunziker was born in New York, studied art in Southern California, and now resides in El Dorado County. Her subjects range from local scenes to Russian folk art. She works in mixed media consisting of ink, pastel and watercolor pens.

Her work can be found at Gold Country Artists Gallery and at her Secret Headquarters Studio/Gallery off Highway 50 in Pollock Pines.
